About Crossing Over.
The book I'm best known for around the world is CROSSING OVER.
It’s the story of the reinvention of the church I pastored for thirty years, and has helped thousands of church leaders globally. In recent months I’ve had many of you reach out to me about my crossing over journey. Perhaps the pandemic has awakened the realisation that you and your church also need to reinvent.
In light of this I’ve decided to offer two live webinars to any and all church leaders where I want to share with you about the challenges and triumphs of starting a new church inside your old one.
I want to reflect now twenty years on and maybe for the last time about how and why things will often get worse before better and how you must survive the carnage of ‘friendly fire’ to get to your promised land.
What You Will Learn.
I will teach you the lost art of REFRAMING as a key to seeing that what you need for the next version of your church is already in your church.
You will see that growth without evolution is pointless.
You will be coached and mentored through a few essential collisions you must endure, but by an experienced crash test dummy (me).
You will understand that relevance is a moving target and we don’t get decide what it looks like.
I will show the importance and urgency to shift from working ‘IN’ the church to working ‘ON’ it.
I want to help you and your church get unstuck or just more prepared, because the best days ahead are for the church that’s in your heart not the one you’re looking at now.
